Established in 1971 as a first local manufacturer in industrial type ironing machines(First iron manufactured by MALKAN is displayed in Rahmi KOÇ museum) Malkan machinery completed 41 years in the industry and also increasing market share day by day in Turkey and Foreign countries. Malkan accomplished to be first choices of garment and readymade garment manufacturers with the help of new technologies Malkan introduced to its customers like PLC controlled full automatic special presses during the last 5 years. Thus Malkan continue to hold big market share inside Turkey since it was established and now competing with German and Italian competitors. Malkan has perfect quality and affordable prices against cheap, poor quality Chinese products and expensive European ironing machines.
Today Malkan has an 8600 sqm closed production area and produces 550 different type machines and manufactures 15,000 machines per year. Malkan exports %45 of produced machine to 87 countries.
Production band has high technology CNC machines, laser machines and educated engineer and technicians so this way achieves perfect high quality. National and international quality systems obtained. First to issue ISO-9001 certification in May 2000.
Because of above mentioned reasons Malkan always has increasing market share in the industry and here is some of the projects Malkan get done in 2012.
1) TERKONSAN / K.MARAS: Famous for his honesty and has fame for it. Artisan of Kahramanmaras and still head of Tailor chamber Ihsan Kurtar moved his worked to garment by establishing a plant with MALKAN.A 5.000sqm area and has a capacity of 500 pieces men suit. His experience for order made suits joined with Malkan high technology machines and also big support for Eastern states economic growth.
2) İMZA GİYİM / ADANA: İsmail Taskınırmak who is the expert of shirts and his company now also added to their production range men jacket .3.000sqm closed production area now has 400 pieces jacket a day capacity. All final ironing and intermediary ironing was supplied by Malkan. IMZA Giyim is looking forward to buy trouser ironing presses also from Malkan after they decided to stop fason trouser ironing.
3) SOZUTEK CONFECTION/ADANA: Young businessman of the industry Mahmut Sozutek also decided to quit fason and will do their own ironing and chose also MALKAN.4.500 sq. closed production area with 650 pieces production capacity and Sozutek exports %80-90 of produced items.
4) KARGISAN / KARABUK: Expert of Lady’s Suits Halil Sahin especially decided to also move on men suits after he received big demands from customers abroad and for this demand he added new plant for his factory 3.000sqm closed production area and capacity of 300 pieces a day. Kargisan is benefiting from Malkan products as well for his men suit while they just stepped in to men suits.
5) YILMAZ KONFECTION: Who proved their self in the industry with their production of trousers Galip Yılmaz’s factory requested to increase their capacity and quality level by purchasing Malkan products. Company owns 4.500sqm closed production area with 2.000 pieces a day ladies trouser capacity.
6) TAHA GARMENT/MALATYA: Nationally and internationally has 435 stores chain and biggest ready garment brand in Turkey also has factory in Istanbul, Adapazari, Malatya and Egypt. Has 7 factory in total and also added 8th factory in Malatya where all machine’s brand are also picked Malkan. Aforementioned project plant will also enlarge export with 45.000 pieces a day.
7) ÖZAK TEKSTIL/MALATYA: Expert of jean production Ahmet Akbalık’s company has new investments in Malatya and also to his new factory in Urfa was installed with more than 50 machines by Malkan.
8) DRY CORNER/ISTANBUL: Emre Kursad Uner who give a different new life to Laundry and Dry-cleaning shops in his 1 factory and 8 Malls chain with his faster and more qualified service now uses Malkan products with this new concept.
