100.000th MACHINE FROM MALKAN AT ITS 40th ANNIVERSARY
It’s 40 years from Mustafa Alkan, leader of Turkish Textile ironing machine, established Malkan with an apprentice in 1971. Since then Malkan Machine’s improved much. Malkan, manufactured first industrial type ironing machine and press, today it exports machines to 84 countries on 5 different continents and has over 30.000 customers. All over the world only 1.8 % of all companies are 40 years old or much. Malkan is at 40, and takes proud of it. And also this year Malkan manufactured its 100.000th machine.
100.000th machine is a milestone for a company. Malkan Machine gets this point with its completely equity capital and continuously improving program. Malkan keeps developing to make its brand name known worldwide with the leader of its founder Mustafa Alkan.
First hand iron, manufactured 40 years ago with internal market opportunities, is being exhibited at Koç museum. And our 100.000th machine is Pneumatic, Scissors-Vertical System Jacket Sleeve Ironing Press. It’s sold to Velko Textile, manufacturer of suit dress in Istanbul. Velko Textile’s recently taken advantage of using Malkan machines. It improved its manufacturing at both internal and external market by Malkan machines. Veli Eyrik, one of the partner of Velko, mentioned this on all occasions. And he feels a great happiness at heart. At the moment jacket final ironing production line of Velko’s completely renewed by Malkan machines.
At 20.10.2011 by delivering of 100.000th machine to Velko with ceremony and presenting a plaque Malkan made a surprise to its customer. Malkan management decided to make special thing to the customer which purchases 100.000th machine. At 23.10.2011 Malkan and Veli Eyrik, one of the partner of Velko, made a helicopter round at İstanbul sky. Inimitable scene of our beautiful İstanbul where is envied by all the world and the Bosporus became an unforgettable memory by this helicopter tour.
